Recommended Oils for Blood Type AB

A tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil each day can be beneficial to your health and well-being.

olive-oilIn addition to bolstering the immune system and helping to protect against viruses, olive oil has been found to be effective in fighting against cancer, heart disease, blood pressure, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoporosis.

Oils can be an important source of nutrition and an aid to elimination. You will increase their value if you limit yourself to monounsaturated varieties, such as olive oil. Use extra virgin when possible. Oil becomes saturated if used for frying and reaches 150+ degrees.

Type AB’s need very little fat to function well, but a tablespoon of olive oil on salads or steamed vegetables daily will aid digestion. Monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) found in all kinds of olive oil are considered a healthy fat. MUFAs may lower your total cholesterol, help normalize blood clotting, and benefit insulin levels and blood sugar control.
