Lifestyle Tips for Type O’s

Set up simple plans for goals and tasks to avoid impulsivity.

  1. Exercise vigorously to burn extra calories.
  2. Exercise first thing in the morning to go through the day calmer, more peaceful, and better at problem solving.
  3. Combine weight training and cardio workouts.
  4. Engage in 30 to 45 minutes of aerobic exercise at least four times weekly.
  5. Reduce training volume after four to six weeks to prevent over-training.
  6. Lack of exercise may cause depression or moodiness.
  1. Avoid stimulants and physiologically stressful substances such as caffeine, diet pills, alcohol, cigarettes, etc.
  2. Eliminate junk/processed food, artificial sweeteners, trans fats, anything with chemical ingredients.
  3. Eat whole, unprocessed foods; choose as many organics as possible.
  4. Eat plenty of sea vegetables (hijiki, wakame, arame, dulse, nori, kombu), the most ideal form of iodine supplementation. They are loaded with many other beneficial nutrients.

  4. Use an infrared sauna to help your body combat infections and detoxify from petrochemicals, metals, PCBs, pesticides, mercury.
  5. Get as much sleep as possible and on a regular schedule. Excessive work, exercise, and sleep deprivation stresses the adrenals.
  6. Look for opportunities to experience security, joy, and optimism.
