Recommended Legumes for Blood Type O

Legumes are not an important part of any type O diet.

greenpeasEat dried beans in moderation, as an occasional side dish. If you get gas, you are enzyme deficient; lipase is recommended.

Azuki beans are a good source of minerals such as iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, and folic acid.

Legumes Intake

  • 1 cup (dry) X 2-7 servings weekly
  • 60-90 g / 2-3 oz. (dry beans and pulses) X 2-7 servings weekly
